Joining Forces to Offer the Best in 3D Mapping

If you haven’t heard yet, we’re excited to share that we’ve been acquired by our friends at Occipital the world’s leading spatial computing company.

We caught Occipital’s eye because we’ve spent years working along complementary paths and share a central goal: to make 3D-mapping accessible and ubiquitous.

Occipital’s Structure Sensor is widely used by consumers and prosumers for everything from body-scanning for orthotics and prosthetics to home-scanning for interior design.

Designers especially love Canvas, Occipital’s innovative scan to CAD pipeline, that converts 3D scans into design-ready models in 2 business days.

With a range of 100m, the PX-80 can capture large buildings, scan indoors and outdoors, and even entire city blocks with no setup. Early users are mapping everything from forests to multi-story construction sites at breakneck speeds!

One of our first integrations will be connecting our PX-80 LiDAR mapping system with Canvas to provide our customers the ability to quickly scan and receive CAD models of huge (100k+ sq ft) spaces!

Together, we’ll bring the capacity to capture everything from kitchens to industrial parks and bring 3D to where it should be: at the forefront of design and construction for consumers and professionals.

We’re thrilled to work with Occipital in bringing more 3D magic into the world and developing quality 3D tools that are mobile, fast, intuitive, and affordable.
